Grants for Artists and Photographers

Innovate Grant supports artists and photographers through quarterly grants.

Innovate Grant awards $550.00 grants each quarter, to one Visual Artist and one Photographer. In addition,  honorable mentions (2 in art and 2 in photo), will be featured and recognized on their website and join a growing community of vibrant and talented artists. Innovate Grant’s commitment extends beyond the grant cycle by promoting the work of selected winners and honorable mentions into the future.

Foundwork Artist Prize

The Foundwork Artist Prize is an annual juried award to recognize outstanding practices by contemporary artists working in any media.

This year, one honoree will receive an unrestricted $10,000 grant and studio visits with distinguished jurors.

Alex J. Ettl Grant for Scupltors

The Alex J. Ettl Grant is a prize of $5,000 sponsored by the National Sculpture Society.

It is awarded annually to a figurative or realist sculptor who has demonstrated a commitment to sculpting and outstanding ability in his/her/their body of work. The Ettl Grant is for a mature body of work; sculpture created in workshop or instructional settings should not be submitted.

RBHU Gives Back

At Rbhu, we believe that art plays a key role in lifting the human spirit; it ignites our imagination with possibilities, helps us process and express our feelings, and brings people together for a collective cause. We believe that monumental sculptures have the power to inspire creativity and can positively impact the health and well-being of those around them.

We offer structural or mechanical engineering services for any size artwork, which can include analysis, construction drawings, and permit documents, depending on the project needs. Offerings will be broken down as follows:

  • One full pro-bono project (up to $6,000 in free services)
  • One project with 50% discounted services (up to $4,000 in free services)
  • One project with 50% discounted services (up to $3,000 in free services)

We are looking for any art piece that needs engineering services is eligible for this program. We want to get a good idea of your concept so that we understand how we can best help you. Please answer the questions as best as you can. If we need additional information, we will reach out and ask you.
