2022 #BlackVisionaries Grant
For the third year in a row, Instagram is partnering with the Brooklyn Museum and the curator Antwaun Sargent to invest in emerging creative communities. Building on the 2021 #BlackDesignVisionaries grant program, the 2022 program aims to uplift, center and invest in Black voices and organizations working across both art and design.
They will award 10 grants totaling $650,000 to emerging Black artists and designers between the ages of 18 and 35 and small organizations no more than 10 years old. Five grant awards of $100,000 will be given to small businesses and nonprofits focused on design, and five grant awards of $30,000 will be given to artists and designers pushing culture forward by telling stories in experimental ways

The Anita Wetzel Residency Grant
The Anita Wetzel Residency Grant is a new opportunity focused on mature artists (45 years old and up) to create new work and fully immerse themselves in WSW’s supportive environment. This residency gives artists the gift of time, 4-6 weeks, to live and work away from the stresses of daily life. Artists may choose to work in any one or more of our studios: intaglio, letterpress, papermaking, screen printing, darkroom photography, or ceramics.
This residency is fully subsidized. WSW provides housing and studio space at no cost. Additionally, the selected artist will receive a stipend of $350/week, up to $500 for materials used during the residency, and up to $250 toward travel within the Continental US.

Hello NYC! Artist Residency
The Curatorial Program for Research (CPR) is pleased to announce its open call for artists to participate in Hello New York!
This second residency is a professional development and networking program that aims to assist resident and non-resident artists in getting to know the complex and vibrant art scene that exists in New York City. The second edition will be hosted by local institutions, artists and independent curators, and gathers a cohort of fifteen local and international artists. Residents meet key players within the dense New York art ecosystem, with a robust programming that offers daily visits to artist studios and local arts institutions, and is complemented by readings about local socio-political history, arts, and culture.
The selected residents will attend a two-week, full-time program (October 10-23), meeting with local professionals including but not limited to local and international artists, gallerists, curators, collectors, residency programs, museum professionals and art historians.

Corning Museum of Glass - Residency opportunities
The Corning Museum of Glass' Studio has the Artist-in-Residence, David Whitehouse Artist Residency for Research, and Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Residency programs.
The programs offer artists the opportunity to spend time in Corning trying new techniques in glass, enhancing their current work, or exploring the techniques of past glassmakers while using the immense resources of the world’s leading glass museum.
Artists-in-Residence at The Studio
The Studio’s artist-in-residence program brings artists from around the world to Corning, New York. Artists spend a month at The Studio exploring new directions in glassmaking or expanding on their current bodies of work while using the immense resources of the world’s leading glass museum.
